"Reveal"

The latest (and for the time being my last) round of Chinese Whispers at PBF has been revealed, so I can show my LO here. The colours on the photo don't really do the LO justice, I think I will need to start looking into the camera's manual a bit more. The photos were taken in a restaurant in Budapest that had some gorgeous food. We actually went there twice during our stay :)

Eine Scrapliftzirkelrunde im PBF ist gerade beendet (und momentan ist das meine letzte Runde gewesen) und ich kann mein LO zeigen. Die Farben auf dem Foto sind nicht so wie auf dem LO; ich muss also wahrscheinlich mal genauer die Anleitung von der Kamera lesen. Die Fotos wurden in einem Restaurant in Budapest gemacht, in dem es super leckeres Essen gab. Wir sind in unserem Urlaub sogar zweimal da gewesen.

NSD and Chinese Whispers

I thought it was time I made a bit of a dent in my pile of "snowy photos" taken earlier this year. I had such a great time when we were out there and wanted to document it.

Ich hab mir gedacht, dass es an der Zeit ist, dass ich meinen Stapel mit den "Schneebildern" aus diesem Jahr doch noch etwas reduziere. Ich hatte so viel Spaß, als wir draußen waren und wollte das festhalten.

I got the barcode rubons that are in the bottom right corner a while ago and just kept stroking them. I finally wanted to use them - so of course they don't rub off properly and tear and crinkle everywhere. I was so disappointed :(

Die Barcode Rubons unten rechts hab ich mir vor einer Weile gekauft und seitdem immer wieder liebevoll angeschaut. Ich wollte sie endlich benutzen - natürlich gehen die nicht richtig von der Folie ab und reißen überall. So eine Enttäuschung :(
I seem to be a bit addicted to this whole Chinese Whispers thing... It's a lot of fun and I like that it puts me under a bit of pressure to get a LO done - I think one of the most difficult parts of scrapping for me is actually getting started. I organised this round and the starting point was actually my "Birthplace" LO.

Diese Scrapliftzirkelsache macht schon etwas süchtig... Es macht einfach Spaß und mir gefällt es, dass ich leicht unter Druck gesetzt werde, ein LO fertig zu bekommen - für mich ist eine der schwersten Sachen beim Scrappen das Anfangen. Ich habe diese Runde organisiert und der Anfangspunkt war mein "Birthplace" LO.
I made this LO for Cleo Crafts blog challenge for NSD. Nicole was very creative and scrapped loads for and on NSD but I didn't really get a lot done.

Dieses LO habe ich für die NSD Challenge auf dem Cleo Crafts Blog gemacht. Nicole war ja sehr kreativ und hat eine Menge für und am NSD gescrappt, aber ich habe nicht viel hinbekommen.

Yet another round of Chinese Whispers

I started this LO for one of the Chinese Whispers rounds in the PBF during the Cleo Crafts Retreat. I wasn't entirely happy with it and tried to improve it after I came home but only with limited success. It just seems a bit unbalanced to me...

Ich habe dieses LO für eine der Scrapliftzirkelrunden im PBF angefangen, während ich auf dem Cleo Crafts Retreat war. Ich war nicht allzu zufrieden damit und habe versucht, es zuhause ein wenig zu verbessern, aber nur mit begrenztem Erfolg. Auf mich wirkt es ein wenig unausgewogen...

Grown up?

I made this LO in January but can only post it now because it was for another round of Chinese Whispers at Paperbraut. I used so many buttons and still hardly made a dent in my collection! I know somebody who's not allowed to buy buttons in the near future...
Ich habe dieses LO im Januar gemacht, konnte es aber erst jetzt posten, weil es für eine weitere Scrapliftzirkelrunde im PBF war. Ich hab schon so viele Knöpfe benutzt und trotzdem kaum etwas von meinem Bestand verbraucht! Ich kenne jemanden, der in der nahen Zukunft keine Knöpfe kaufen darf...

I'm not sure the journalling is legible, so let's just say that Nicole and I "had" to go back to Stratford 3 weeks after our first trip and queue for returns. Of course we chose the day where it was freezing cold and the journey was not easy (especially back) but it was worth it - we got tickets for both Love's Labour's Lost and Hamlet!

Ich weiß nicht, ob man das Journalling lesen kann - sagen wir einfach mal, dass Nicole und ich 3 Wochen nach unserem ersten Trip unbedingt nach Stratford zurück "mussten", um uns für Returns (Tages- und Restkarten) anzustellen. Natürlich haben wir uns einen bitterkalten Tag ausgesucht und die Fahrt (vor allem zurück) war auch nicht einfach... Aber es war es wert - wir haben sowohl Tickets für Love's Labour's Lost als auch Hamlet bekommen!

Chinese Whispers

I had always wanted to join a Chinese Whispers / Scrapliftzirkel and finally had the opportunity to do so at Paperbraut. This is a lift from Suse; I was a bit unsure about how close I could or should be and therefore stayed very close to her LO. My first LO since approx. August last year.

Ich wollte schon immer bei einem Scrapliftzirkel mitmachen und hatte im PBF endlich die Möglichkeit. Das hier ist ein Lift von Suse; ich war ein wenig unsicher, wie eng ich an ihrem LO bleiben kann oder soll und bin deshalb sehr eng dran geblieben. Mein erstes LO seit ungefähr August letztes Jahr.

Ich hab auch noch ein LO für eine andere Runde gemacht, kann es aber noch nicht posten, weil sie noch nicht beendet ist :)
