More from the Isle of Wight

I'm usually no fan of double LOs - not because I don't like them but rather because I find them quite difficult to make. However, sometimes there are just so many pictures from one event that a double is the obvious choice.

Normalerweise bin ich ja kein Fan von Doppellayouts - nicht, weil mir nicht gefällt, wie sie ausehen, sondern weil ich mich nicht leicht mit ihnen tue. Manchmal gibt es aber so viele Fotos von einer Sache, dass ein Doppel einfach Sinn macht.

This one nearly drove me to despair and was on my table for quite a while. Now that it's done, I'm happy with it. And what's even more incredible: It's the last from the Budapest/Vienna trip last spring :)

Ich bin halb verzweifelt, als ich dieses gemacht habe und es war ganz schön lange auf meinen Tisch. So im fertigen Zustand bin ich zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Und was noch besser ist: Es ist das letzte vom Budapest/Wienurlaub im letzten Frühjahr :)

The last of my Isle of Wight pictures from October

Last weekend Nicole, Mum and I went to the second Wight Craft Circle retreat on the Isle of Wight and we had a great time! Nicole and I found our mojo and both managed to finish more than 10 layouts. I'll be posting them bit by bit.

Letztes Wochenende sind Nicole, Mama und ich zum zweiten Wight Craft Circle Retreat auf der Isle of Wight gefahren und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit! Glücklicherweise hatte der gute alte Mojo sich sowohl bei Nicole als auch bei mir blicken lassen, sodass wir beide je mehr als 10 Layouts fertig bekommen haben. Ich werde sie hier Stück für Stück posten.

I "finished off" a few photo series/vacations/events; the first bits to be done were the pictures from the first WCC retreat last October :) I think I've fallen in love with Basic Grey Origins!

Auf dem Retreat habe ich einige Fotoserien/Urlaube/Events "vollendet"; als erstes waren die übrigen Bilder vom ersten WCC Retreat im Oktober dran :) Ich glaub, ich habe mich ein wenig in die Basic Grey Origins Serie verliebt!

Ahh, my trusty scalloped circle punch - always a great help when you want to have lots of pictures on one page without overfilling the page.

Ach, mein guter alter Scallop Kreisstanzer - immer wieder ein gutes Hilfsmittel, wenn man viele Fotos auf einer Seite haben will ohne, dass es überfüllt aussieht.

Where's the sun?

Another Sunday evening, another challenge with Paperbraut. Tonight Fienchen challenged us to scrap with bold and fun spring colours. I didn't have any spring or summer pictures so I decided to use a wintry picture and combine it with bright colours.

Es ist wieder Sonntagabend und es gibt wieder eine Challenge bei den Paperbräuten. Heute Abend hat Fienchen uns aufgerufen mit bunten und fröhlichen Frühlingsfarben zu scrappen. Ich hatte keine Frühlings- oder Sommerbilder zur Hand und hab deswegen ein winterliches Foto genommen und mit den leuchtenden Farben kombiniert.

Yay, I finished my Journal Your Christmas album! Quite proud of myself that I persevered even though I had quite a backlog ahead of myself :)

Juchuh, ich hab mein Journal Your Christmas Album vollendet! Ich bin ziemlich stolz darauf, dass ich durchgehalten habe, obwohl ich einiges aufzuholen hatte :)
