Retreat scrapped

Let's continue with the layouts I scrapped during our retreat on the Isle of Wight - funnily enough, I mostly scrapped pictures from the retreat before :)

So, dann machen wir mal weiter, dieses Mal mit den Layouts, die ich auf unserem Retreat auf der Isle of Wight gescrappt habe - lustigerweise habe ich zum Großteil Bilder von unserem vorherigen Retreat benutzt :)

I will use this as the title page; it's a simple design and the first time I ever cut out such a big motif from a piece of PP. The journalling is just a list of everybody on the picture.

Ich werde dies als Titelseite verwenden; das Design ist sehr schlicht und ich habe zum ersten Mal so ein großes Motiv aus einem PP ausgeschnitten. Das Journalling ist nur eine Liste der Leute auf dem Bild.

I wanted to capture the playful atmosphere of the crop; the room it was held in was the creche. Well, it DID sometimes look like that with everybody playing with ink, paper, scissors, glue and other materials ;) The stitched border took quite a while to complete, I had to do it in three sittings.

Ich wollte die verspielte Atmosphäre vom Crop festhalten; der Raum ist normalerweise eine Kinderkrippe. Na ja, manchmal hat es auch so ausgesehen - reichlich Leute, die mit Tinte, Papier, Scheren, Kleber und anderen Materialien gespielt haben ;) Der gestickte Rahmen hat ganz schön Zeit in Anspruch genommen, ich musste es in drei Etappen machen.

The first part of this LO's title is a bit hidden but it was intended that way. Of course I had to document the moment when Nicole and I stepped into the Atlantic - it was so cold! At the bottom of the page is some of the sand we discovered in our luggage after we came back.

Ein Teil vom Titel diese LOs ist ein wenig versteckt, aber das ist so gewollt. Natürlich musste ich den Moment festhalten, als Nicole und ich in den Atlantik gegangen sind - es war so kalt! Am unteren Rand habe ich ein wenig Sand festgeklebt, den wir nach unserer Rückkehr im Koffer gefunden haben.

The Giant's Causeway is quite an incredible sight. As I was not in the mood for a double layout, I had to get creative with my pictures. I like the result.

Der Giant's Causeway ist schon ein ziemlich eindrucksvoller Anblick. Da ich kein Doppellayout machen wollte, musste ich kreativ mit meinen Bildern werden. Ich mag das Ergebnis.
