My take on the all day crop

Nicole has already posted her LOs from our all day crop in Reading last Saturday. I had a great time meeting up with Lorraine, Bridget and Sarah again and can't wait to hopefully repeat this in October in Reading and Portstewart in November!

Nicole hat ja schon ihre LOs von unserem Ganztagescrop in Reading am Samstag gepostet. Es war super Lorraine, Bridget und Sarah wieder zu treffen und ich kann es kaum erwarten, das hoffentlich im Oktober in Reading und Portstewart im November zu wiederholen!

Lorraine had put together a few challenges for us for the crop. This was a sketch challenge and I used a couple of my remaining snow pictures.

Lorraine hatte sich für den Crop ein paar Challenges ausgedacht. Dies hier war eine Sketch Challenge und ich habe ein paar der übrigen Schneebilder genommen.

Back when I first started scrapping more than 2 years ago, I made a LO called "Home" that showed pictures from the flat Nicole and I shared back in Germany. We lived there for 2.5 years and it was a difficult but brilliant time. I loved having a place of my own and decorating the way I liked it. But I digress. I never liked the original LO and wanted to redo it. Another of Lorraine's challenges was to use at least 5 pictures on a LO - I still had these smaller pictures from a project I started but never finished and thought that might be the time to give the LO another try. I'm happier with this version but still not really happy.

Als ich vor mehr als 2 Jahren mit dem Scrappen angefangen habe, habe ich ein LO mit dem Titel "Home" gemacht. Darauf waren Bilder von der Wohnung, die Nicole und ich uns in Deutschland geteilt haben. Wir haben dort für 2.5 Jahre gewohnt und es war eine schwierige, aber wundervolle Zeit. Ich war begeistert davon, meine eigenen vier Wände zu haben und alles so einzurichten, wie es mir gefällt. Aber ich weiche vom Thema ab. Ich mochte das ursprüngliche LO nie so richtig und wollte es neu machen. Eine andere von Lorraines Challenges war es, mindestens 5 Bilder auf einem LO unterzubringen - ich hatte diese kleineren Abzüge noch von einem Projekt, das ich zwar angefangen, aber niemals fertig gemacht hatte, und entschied mich, dass ich es noch einmal mit dem LO probiere. Diese Version gefällt mir besser, aber so ganz zufrieden bin ich noch immer nicht.
Lorraine had this lovely paper in her shop that I just needed to have. While looking through my pictures, I stumbled upon two that I took on Oxford Street in December last year. I think those were the Selfridges window displays.

Lorraine hatte in ihrem Shop dieses schöne Papier, dass ich einfach haben musste. Beim Foto durchschauen sind mir zwei in die Hände gefallen, die ich im Dezember letztes Jahr auf der Oxford Street gemacht habe. Ich glaube, das waren die Schaufenster von Selfridges.
